TotalBoat ThickSet is a deep pour epoxy system great for custom works of art on bar tops, counter tops, table tops, kitchen islands, kitchen counters, and bistro tables. Use this clear casting resin to make paperweights, lamp bases, chess sets, sculptures, jewelry — whatever you like!
TotalBoat ThickSet makes it easy to get great results — even if you’ve never used epoxy before. Just measure carefully, stir thoroughly, and pour slowly onto your prepared surface or into your prepared mold. The key is step pouring with multiple layers. This means that when the previous layer has cooled but is soft enough to indent with your fingernail, pour the next layer directly on top.
Not sure how much ThickSet Epoxy you need? Try our simple epoxy calculator to determine how much resin your project will require.
TotalBoat ThickSet and Fathom epoxies are crystal clear resin systems that can be poured deeper than traditional epoxy, and both are ideal for castings, river tables, and slab pours, but the main question is – how deep do you want to go? If it’s really deep, you want Fathom because you can pour it in thicker single layers than ThickSet. The table below contains more information to help you decide which formula is right for your project.
